Assabet Interactive is committed to ensuring our software is usable and accessible to everyone—including those with disability challenges—by meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA, and producing an ACR representative of the system’s compliance.
The Assabet Interactive platform was built using fundamental web development techniques, targeting clean semantic markup output with the use of native HTML 5 elements to minimize accessibility barriers. However, some aspects of the platform do not fully comply with the accessibility guidelines in places. Examples of those might be:
Assabet Interactive is currently engaged in an effort to address accessibility shortcomings by engaging with a third-party company which specializes in accessibility audits – not just using browser-based assessment tools like WebAIM’s WAVE, but working with people with disabilities for real-world testing.
Improvements will be iteratively published based on user impact, addressing any severe and/or widespread issues as a priority, or issues associated with elements of the user interface which are commonly used throughout the system.
While the approach to maintaining accessibility will be an ongoing endeavor, significant improvement should be seen during the first half of 2026. This statement will be updated periodically to reflect the latest progress.
